Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of LMK School, operated by LET ME KNOW PLEASE LLC (“we,” “us”), 10720 Traymore Lane, Charlotte, NC 28278. By using LMK School, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service. Questions? Email hello@lmkplz.com.

1. Who can use LMK School

You must be at least 18 and a parent or legal guardian. You may only connect school accounts that are yours or that you’re authorized to access, and you must follow the terms of those school apps.

2. What LMK School does

LMK School is a read-only tool that organizes what your child’s school app already sends you into a single feed, calendar, and assignment list. You authorize us to sign in to the school account(s) you connect, using the login you provide, and to read your information. Actions like signing forms, paying, or RSVPing happen in your school app, not in LMK School.

3. Your account and credentials

Keep your account information accurate, and you’re responsible for activity under your account. We store the school login you provide in encrypted form and use it only to access your information on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time, which deletes the stored login.

4. Subscriptions, free trial, and billing

• Free trial. Your first 7 days, starting when you first connect a school account, are free.
• Price. After the trial, LMK School is $24.99 per month for one family account, plus any applicable tax.
• Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal. Your access continues through the end of the current paid period. We don’t provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
• Changes. We may change the price with reasonable advance notice.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no reverse-engineering, reselling, automated abuse, interfering with the service, or accessing accounts you aren’t authorized to use.

6. Disclaimers

LMK School is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by ParentSquare or any school or district. What we show depends on what your school app provides, and it may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Do not rely on LMK School as your only source for time-sensitive or emergency information — always check your school app and official school communications.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LET ME KNOW PLEASE LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or missed information. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LET ME KNOW PLEASE LLC from claims arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

You can stop using LMK School and disconnect at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll revise the “Effective” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.

12. Text messages (SMS)

SMS updates are optional and never required to use LMK School. If you enroll a mobile number and give consent, we send only the informational school updates you select, plus verification and enrollment messages. Message frequency varies with your preferences, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop at any time, or HELP for help. We don't put student names or other sensitive details in texts — they link to the authenticated app. We never sell your number or use it for marketing, and you can turn texts off any time in Settings.
